“Volunteering is the very core of being a human.
No one has made it through life
without someone else’s help.”
– Heather French Henry
Volunteering with MKCCRN is a great way to support the community, especially seniors and youth, and help promote Korean Canadian culture in Manitoba. Here’s how you can get involved in a few easy steps:
1. Reach out to Us:
Send us an email at mkccrn.wpg@gmail.com or let us know you’re interested in volunteering and tell us a little about yourself.
2. Fill out a Volunteer Application:
Provide your contact information, availability, areas of interest, and any relevant experience or skills.
3. Join Us for a Chat:
We’ll invite you for an informal chat (either in-person or over the phone) to get to know you better and discuss how you can help.
We’ll share more about our current projects and see where your interests and skills might fit best.
4. Get Started:
Once we’ve found a good match for you, you can start volunteering right away!
We’ll give you a quick overview of what you’ll be doing and introduce you to the team.
5. Flexible Volunteering:
We understand that everyone has different schedules, so we offer flexible volunteering opportunities.
You can help out as much or as little as you want, based on your availability.
