“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day;
teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.”
- The Bible

The Manitoba Korean Canadian Community Resource Network (MKCCRN), Inc. is a trusted partner committed to empowerment and strength-based practices.

We believe everyone has their own strengths. Strengths-based (or asset-based) approaches focus on individuals’ strengths—whether personal or within social and community networks—rather than on their deficits. This holistic, multidisciplinary practice works with individuals to promote their overall well-being.

Whether you are a youth, senior, or family member, MKCCRN advocates for a stronger, healthier, and more altruistic community by inspiring people and mobilizing resources to meet the needs of Korean-Canadians and the broader community in Manitoba. MKCCRN strives to play a vital role in creating positive change within our community.

MKCCRN supports programs and services essential to transforming the lives of many individuals and families. From pro-bono legal services, senior active living, and youth empowerment, to healthcare consultation, interpretation and translation, education, and family and individual counseling resources, MKCCRN is here to support the vulnerable and marginalized members of our society. Our goal is to create long-lasting changes that promote economic, linguistic, and health independence, as well as healthy lifestyle choices for our community—but we can’t do it alone.

We invite you to be part of this change. Together, we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow. We look forward to your continued support in helping MKCCRN and our communities grow and thrive. Whether you donate time or money, advancing the common good requires all of us to work together. Together, we will achieve lasting, positive change.

Thank you!
