Grocery Drives

Our Grocery Drives make sure seniors have the food they need without having to go out shopping. We bring groceries directly to your door, so you can eat well and stay healthy.

How It Works:

• Personal Shopping: You tell us what groceries you need, and our volunteers do the shopping for you. We make sure to get the exact items you want, including any special foods you might need for your diet. If you’re not sure what you need, we can help you plan your shopping list.
• Regular Deliveries: We deliver groceries every week or every two weeks, depending on what works best for you. We coordinate with local stores and markets, as well as Harvest Manitoba to provide you with high-quality, fresh food, so you always have what you need.
• Friendly Visits: When our volunteers deliver your groceries, they also take a moment to check in and chat. These friendly visits are more than just a delivery—they’re a way to stay connected and have someone to talk to regularly.

Intergenerational Interaction: We also encourage younger volunteers to participate in our Grocery Drives. This brings different generations together, allowing for meaningful conversations and connections during the deliveries.
